Is it summer yet?

Hi !

Guess what? We went wild camping!

IMAGE: Bedraggled but happy wild campers!

It was great to meet everyone and hopefully the start of many Team Intrepid meet ups to come :)

Dartmoor gave us a full weather experience... it was factor 50+ suncream on Day 1 and bog squelching on Day 2! Is it summer yet??

Errata: Dawa Yangzum Sherpa became the first Nepali woman to summit Makalu. Please excuse my typo! There have been many female Nepali summits of Everest already (first in 1993, Pasang Lhamu Sherpa).

Plogolution ran 6 marathons in 6 days, picking up plastic as they went. Read about their challenge here:

Mel Nicholls has started handcycling Britain. You can follow her progress here.

Jo Bradshaw is attempting to climb the Seven Summits. Read her story on the Intrepid Magazine blog here.

Selah Schneiter is a 10 year old causing a stir in the climbing community. Read about what she's up to here and here.

Wild Night Out is this happening on 29th June. Spend a night under the stars with lots of other people across the UK:

Into the Mountain Traineeships are offering 2 places for women to get into Mountain Training in Scotland. Deadline 21st June. All details here:
